Martha Estrada

STUDIO OWNER/INSTRUCTOR

Martha Estrada earned her Bachelor's Degree in Educational Studies and Community Leadership. Her dance training began at an early age in Indiana under the direction of Leslie Kolarz, where she studied Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Tap, Modern, Lyrical, Hip Hop, and Contemporary.

Her love for teaching extends far beyond the classroom and into the studio every day. Combining her educational background with over 15 years of experience as an instructor, choreographer, studio director, and studio owner, Martha is passionate about developing strong technical dancers while fostering confidence, artistry, and leadership.

Throughout her career, Martha has helped students achieve their goals both on and off the dance floor. Her former students have gone on to perform on collegiate dance teams, pursue collegiate dance programs, cheer for NFL teams, and tour professionally with nationally recognized recording artists, and work as active professional dancers in both New York and Los Angeles

As a choreographer, Martha has created award-winning works for dancers, ice skaters, vocal artists, and color/winter guard programs. Her choreography has received recognition and top honors at both the regional and national levels.

Committed to lifelong learning, Martha continues to train alongside today's leading educators and choreographers, bringing fresh techniques and inspiration back to her students. She is a certified Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT)instructor and believes that continuing education is essential to providing the highest level of training.

Martha is passionate about sharing her love for dance with every student who walks through the doors of Lux Dance Collective. Whether a dancer is pursuing dance recreationally or aspiring to a professional career, she is dedicated to helping each student discover their potential, build confidence, and achieve their goals.
