HIP HOP FACULTY

Erica Dessalines earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Tampa and majored in Business Management. She was born in New Jersey but was raised in Haiti, she then officially moved to the US in 2017 as a sophomore in high school.

She went to school in Boston, became a self-taught Hip Hop dancer where her abilities helped her train with countless teachers and studios. She was then able to herself become a teacher at a prestigious studio in Allston, MA. She taught at the studio for about 3 years, was able to choreograph for a celebrity Kpop idol music video and choreographed their Boston Finale performance at a prestigious event celebrating the artist in question.

She was also able to perform at World of Dance with her Boston studio, trained with some of the most renowned dancers in the Western, Korean, and Japanese dance industry. Over 8 years moving to the US, she was able to garner 5 years of experience dancing, teaching, choreographing, and developing public relational skills through the different opportunities she gained.
